Siliguard Car Seat Protector for Child Car Seat, Under Car Seats

This car seat protector is definitely an upgrade from the one I had before, and I’m extremely happy with the quality! It’s nice and thick at the base, and I love that the bottom has a cutout that fits perfectly around our car seat. You can cut it if you need to also, but I decided to leave mine as one full piece, so installation was super easy.I already know this is going to help protect my seats from spills, crumbs, and everyday messes. I love that it’s BPA-free and made from food-grade silicone, which gives me a little extra peace of mind.My only wish is that they offered more than two color options, but I went with black because it matches everything and looks great in the car. Overall, I’m really impressed with this protector and definitely recommend it!

Excellent fit

I’m really impressed with this silicone car seat protector. The silicone is soft to the touch, yet durable, and it looks sharp in our vehicle with black/ super dark gray SofTex leather seats. It fits well in our 5th-generation Toyota RAV4 and does a great job protecting the softer seat material from the inevitable dents and impressions that tightly secured car seats can leave behind. It’s easy to install and we had no issues getting it well seated before installing the seat. As the protector isn’t super thick, I don’t have concerns about it altering the safety of our seat installation whatsoever. The nice part about silicone is that it’s flexible so it will mold to your seats better than a stiffer type would. Especially helpful if you have any contouring to your seats. This takes the brunt of the dents and gives your leather seat a fighting chance at avoiding permanent damage.We use an Evenflo Revolve 360 car seat, which is a tank when it comes to size and weight, and the protector works great underneath it. The base sits securely with no issues, and the mat provides excellent coverage to help protect our leather. Being silicone, it does not slide around like other cloth type material ones we’ve had that just had the nubs on the backing claiming to be non-slip. It’s also great for rear-facing kids, helping prevent scuffs, while providing full seat protection for forward-facing seats as well.As a household with leather seats in all of our vehicles, this is definitely a must-have. The quality and durability feel excellent, it’s easy to clean, and the coverage is exactly what we were looking for. At around $65, I think the price is more than reasonable for the quality and protection it provides.Highly recommended for anyone looking to protect their leather or SofTex leather seats from car seat dents, scuffs, and everyday wear. If you have kids you also know anything that makes it easier to keep the car clean is a win as a parent! 10/10 recommend!

Love that it’s super easy to rinse off. It does protect your seat nicely. Easy to wash it in as well and a decent price for what you’re getting. It seems to hold into place depending on your seat. Ours doesn’t slide or move around thankfully. We can also just pop it out and move to another car if needed.

So I ordered this seat protector to be used a little differently than intended. We have a 27 year old severely autistic child, who is incontinent. My husband just bought a new car, which has cloth seats. Although he has waterproof seat covers, they are generally for a small spill of coffee, not all the damage a 27 year old in diapers can do. So I decided to get this silicone cover for where my daughter sits in his car. The silicone is durable, and plenty big enough to protect the seat and the back. We have a cloth seat cover over cloth seats, so the protector does slide around a bit, but it clearly states it's intended for leather seats, so my fault! We just hold it down as she gets in the car, and readjust it when she gets out. We have used it for a few weeks now, and her seat is still completely dry, with no odors! I'm sure it would do a great job as a car seat protector, but it also works to serve our needs pretty well.
